Sean was president and founder for more than 15 years of one of the largest pest management companies in Northern California. He also served as Regional VP of operations for Home Team. He has been the past Chairman and board member of the PCOC. Sean has been featured in several notable publications around the United States, including SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year, U.S. top 100 Companies-PCT Magazine, Top 40 under 40 management professionals- PCT Magazine, Top 3 fastest growing private companies-East Bay Business Times, 30 under 30 most influential entrepreneurs- East Bay business Times. Sean has served as an advisor to the first stages of standards for IPM requirements by the State and local agencies, establishing residential and commercial pesticide regulations for less pesticide exposure to our environment. Sean is a consultant for acquisitions to several companies, as well as regional and local companies. He continues to actively seek new prospects and target companies. Deane has over 30 years of experience in accounting and business management and has held the Western Region Administrative Manager position overseeing the Western Region for two Fortune 500 companies. Her background includes 8 years with one of Northern California’s largest privately owned companies handling business development and customer relations. During this time she helped implement many regulatory and environmental policies for Contra Costa County. Deane spent 15 years as a field technician working with the public which she feels has given her the ability to understand and take care of the needs of her customers, and manage her company with the customers needs first. Deane holds an Operator’s License in Branch 2 with the state of California and is AIB certified with years of experience in handling sanitation and safety for food handling establishments. In her spare time she likes to compete in triathlons, mountain bike and spend time with her three sons.

Marie has worked in the Property Management business for the past 17 years, and has been with SMI, Inc. for two years as the Senior Property Advisor handling the Accounts Payable and Receivable along with other various duties. Prior to that she worked 15 years in the Property Management industry where she started as a receptionist and worked up to Assistant Property Manager. Prior to her Property Management career she worked and lived in Los Angeles as an Administrative Assistant to several top producing stock brokerage firms with client relations and portfolio management. From there, she became office manager and was involved in both the brokerage aspect and tax preparation of the company. She has now lived in Northern California for the past thirty years. She has two grown children and two grandsons. On her time off, if not with family, she loves to cook, read, and relax with her cat named Meaty (short for Archimedes).

Marissa graduated from Biola University making the Dean's list all 4 years, with a B.A. in Business Administration and concentration in Marketing Management. She has over 5 years of marketing experience including working for the University Communications and Marketing Department at Biola. She has 3 years of management experience from her time as a manager for Bon Appetit Management Company. Here she managed large scale university events and a catering team. She also has accounting experience working as a payroll compliance auditor for a CPA firm. On her time off, she loves to spend time with her family on their boat and be near the Delta.

Marc comes to us with 13 years of real estate background. Working closely with multiple real estate companies as a front office manager, marketer, advertiser and bookkeeper. Starting as a loan processor/officer in 2007 for Cornerstone Funding Group and working his way up to office manager at Windermere Ellsworth & Associates. During the foreclosure era he was a key part of marketing to multiple asset companies for their business and was successful with obtaining multiple vendors. With this came anywhere from 10 to 20 closed transactions per month. Which helped keep the company afloat during troubled times. As the company transferred hands to new offices, the new companies felt it was vital to keep him on as their front desk support. He gave great support and was a team player developing new marketing flyers and custom created materials, insights and knowledge to his fellow agents. He enjoys building relationships, having people come to him with questions and accomplishing tasks & goals.

Tommy has been with SMI since 2011. He has over 25 years experience in Supervising and Management. He holds a Class A license and is versed in farming and heavy equipment operation. He enjoys physical labor and working outdoors. With his last employer he received Employee of the month 3 times and Top Producer twice. In his spare time he enjoys Bow hunting, motorcycles and working with and training dogs.
